Koh Hong

The highlight of the tour is a peek inside this fascinating island room.
In a similar fashion to the famous ‘Hong’s’ found in Vietnam, this unique structure has been created by the gradual erosion of the soft limestone by slightly acidic rain-water.
It has taken thousands of years for the small original basin on top of this island to grow downwards and finally find a path to the sea.
It’s shallow waters are perfect for splashing around in, and fortunately prevent larger boats easy access.
Large fishing eagles and waders can be seen hunting here!
